Boat House |
The Farndon Boathouse was formerly known as The New Ferry Restaurant and has under-gone a major redevelopment & refurbishment programme. This part new-build and extensive renovation project is in the style of an old boathouse that has been tastefully converted into a modern eatery!
Built using many natural materials, clad in wood, warehouse-style lighting, chunky exposed roof trusses, stone floors and an abundance of glass and by-fold doors, this building sits wonderfully well on the banks of the River Trent.
The Farndon Boathouse re-opened in the summer of 2008 as a fashionable, bar and eatery, serving fresh modern food, using local produce and at most reasonable prices. |
