Xmas card competition.

We run this on an infrequent basis.

Volunteers in the Village submit photos, we have them judged at local events and then create a Xmas card for sale the following year.
All funds raised from selling these cards in and around the Village assist our funds.



The 2006 winner was Amanda Knowling Davies.

The Ferry is a focal point in the Village and this image back along the Trent captures the still majic of a winters day.

It is a lovely spot taking full advantage of a beautiful stretch of water that looks magbificent all year round.

Well done Amanda. We sold 500 cards with your image that year.





The 2005 winner was Barry Braithwaite.

This winter scene captures the beauty of the Countryside surrounding the Village.

A perfect scene. A snowy winter's morning and a fantastic reminder of how lucky we are.
