Garden Parties & Summer Fayres.
We have run many of these over the years and see them as a way of giving a little something back to the Village.
They are a great opportunity for us to meet & greet and explain our work to residents.
We are appreciative of the loyal followers who come every year to spend as a donation to our funds.

We are also grateful to local Businesses who donate to our prize pool and particularly to our major sponsors who help with the costs of staging the events:
Farndon Marina
NSK Europe Ltd
Newark Motorists (Closed).
We have hosted these events in a mixture of styles:
Members & friends opening their wonderful gardens for the day.
On the Village Playing fields.
On the circular greenat Holmfield.
Inside the Village Hall.
Different venues have allowed us to stage events with a different feel.

Enetrtainment has been provided by - St Peters School Choir, a Morris dance group, local bands, the fire service, clowns and entertainers.
Stalls vary from Bric-a-brac, books, cakes, clothes & toys to games such as the football shootout, golf, find the lady, treasure hunts, worm pulls, tombola, wine to water & of course "Smak-a-rat".
Ona good summers day its hard to beat!
We normally run for about 3-4 hours and can attract upwards of 200 supporters.

Local dignaties have opend the event - Mayors & Councillors, County, District & Parish.
Here John Clark, Chairman of Farndon Parish Council, did us the honour of officially opening our 3rd annual Garden Party.

Our "Scarecrow TV Couple contest" competition drew a lot of interest one year.
